You Are Not Alone

Hi, Friend!

God is with you in this fight. You are never abandoned or forgotten.

Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer)

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

A Psalm of Praise and Thanks

Psalm 9

I will praise You, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

When my enemies retreat, they stumble and perish before You. For You have upheld my right and my cause; You sit on Your throne, judging righteously. You have rebuked the nations; You have destroyed the wicked; You have erased their name forever and ever.

The enemy has come to eternal ruin, and You have uprooted their cities; even the memory of them has perished. But the LORD sits enthroned forever; He has established His throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, O LORD, have never forsaken those who seek You. Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion; proclaim His deeds among the nations.

For He who avenges blood remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted. Be gracious to me, O LORD; consider my affliction by those who hate me. Lift me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all Your praises in the gates of Daughter Zion, and there rejoice in Your salvation.

The nations have sunk into the pit they dug; their feet are caught in the net they hid. The LORD is known by His justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah

The wicked will return to Sheol—all the nations that forget God. For the needy will not always be forgotten; the hope of the poor will never perish.

Arise, O LORD, let not man prevail; let the nations be judged in Your presence. Strike them with terror, O LORD; let the nations know they are but men. Selah
A Psalm for Mercy and Help

Psalm 51

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your loving devotion; according to Your great compassion, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are proved right when You speak and blameless when You judge.

Surely I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Surely You desire truth in the inmost being; You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.

Purge me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones You have crushed rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence; take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners will return to You. Deliver me from bloodguilt, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing of Your righteousness.

O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare Your praise. For You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; You take no pleasure in burnt offerings. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

In Your good pleasure may You prosper Zion; build up the walls of Jerusalem. Then You will delight in righteous sacrifices, in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings; then bulls will be offered on Your altar.
Brief Prayer

Father, thank You for never leaving me, even when I feel forgotten. When loneliness surrounds me, remind me of Your unfailing presence.

Fill my heart with the comfort of Your Spirit and the joy of Your promises. When fear rises, help me hear Your gentle voice saying, “I am with you.” Give me strength to trust that I am carried in Your hands.

May I rest in the truth that I am never truly alone. Let Your peace surround me like a shield today. Amen.
