Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Our thoughts shape our minds. To navigate daily experiences, our brains constantly think. They are always active, like a burning fire.

Since we face temptation every day, it is beneficial for our soul to receive her daily dose of God’s words.

These simple words can have a powerful impact on our minds. They can cleanse us internally, like tiny candles. By reading them daily, their light will shine brighter, gradually dispelling darkness and leaving us feeling purified.
