Psalm 40:3

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.

Lord, I spent so long singing the old, tired songs of my own sin and the bitterness of my heart. But today, because You are risen, You have put a new song in my mouth. It is a song of praise I didn’t write and surely don’t deserve. Let my life be a living hymn that makes others stop and see Your power. Even in my weakness and my struggle to love You, let my trust in Your grace lead others to find their home in You. Amen
