Dear God, I confess how often I try to find shelter in worldly comforts or my own planning when life feels intimidating. Those refuges always crumble. Today, I choose to pull close to You, making Your presence my true dwelling place. Keep me tucked so near to Your heart that I am covered by Your shadow. When threats or worries loom over my day, quiet my heart with the realization that nothing can touch me without passing through Your loving hand first. Amen.
