He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.

Lord God, there are moments when my sin, my failures, and my anxieties feel like deep waters closing over my head. I feel like I am drowning in my own thoughts, unable to swim back to the surface. Thank You that You don’t stand on the shore lecturing me; You reach down from on high and take hold of me. Thank You for pulling me out of the pit once again. I lay down my pride and let Your strong hand rescue and restore my soul today. Amen.
