Lord, I get so tired of trying to keep myself together and guard my own heart. Thank You for being my true Keeper. You don’t slumber, and You never take Your eyes off me. Be my shade on my right hand today, protecting me from the elements and the pressures that try to wither my joy. I surrender the heavy lifting of my life to Your capable hands and walk in the cool relief of Your presence. Amen.
