Father, bad news and unexpected disruptions seem to lurk around every corner, threatening to shatter my peace. I confess how quickly my heart panics when trouble looms. Anchor my soul in You today. Build within me a steadfast, fixed heart that relies entirely on Your sovereignty rather than changing circumstances. When bad news comes, let my immediate reflex be trust rather than fear, knowing that my life is held securely in Your hands. Amen.
