James 1:5

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
A man in a checked shirt praying in a church, hands clasped together.

My Lord, I feel foolish today. I’m facing choices that I don’t know how to handle, and I’m afraid of making the wrong move. Thank You that You don’t “upbraid” or find fault in me for being confused. I am asking You for wisdom right now—the generous kind that only You give. Quiet the noise of my own anxiety so I can hear Your direction. I don’t need to be smart; I just need to be Yours. Amen.
