Holy God, I confess that when problems pile up, my instinct is to run faster, work harder, and try to force a solution. I am so often “not willing” to just stop. Forgive my stubborn self-reliance. Teach me the deep, countercultural power of returning to You and resting. I lay down my weapons and my frantic strategies today. Let my quietness be my defense, and let my confidence in Your character be the exact strength I need to face this day. Amen.
