Lord, my mind is anything but steadfast today; it’s racing from one “what if” to another. I want that “perfect peace,” but I realize it only comes when I keep my gaze fixed on You. Forgive me for staring at my problems while only glancing at You. I choose to “stay” my mind on Your character and Your power. I trust You with the outcomes I cannot control. Keep me steady, Father, as I lean into Your strength. Amen.
