Hebrews 6:19

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain
A man in a checked shirt praying in a church, hands clasped together.

Lord, when the tides of life shift and the waves of circumstance crash against my peace, my heart easily drifts into panic. I confess how often I anchor my soul to temporary things—my performance, my plans, or the approval of others. Forgive my foolishness. Today, I throw my spiritual anchor deep into the unchanging truth of Jesus Christ. Fix my hope securely behind the veil in Your heavenly presence, so that no matter how hard the storm blows today, my soul remains firm, secure, and steadfast in You. Amen.
