Lord Jesus, as I step into the responsibilities and work of this new week, I confess how easily I get unmotivated, bitter, or focused on pleasing people. I catch myself seeking human approval and complaining about mundane, repetitive tasks. Shift my perspective this Monday morning. Remind me that every job, every conversation, and every unseen duty is an opportunity to serve You. Let me work with a glad, diligent, and hearty spirit today, doing everything for Your glory rather than human praise, knowing that my true inheritance and reward come from Your faithful hands alone. Amen.
Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
