Lord Jesus, as I step across the threshold into this new week, the world demands that I bow to its pace and its values. Wake up my sleepy spirit! Help me to stay on my guard against subtle distractions and pride. Grant me the courage to stand firm in my faith at work, in my home, and in my quiet thoughts. Be my strength today so I can walk boldly as Your follower. Amen.
