Lord Jesus, the external waves of life are throwing me off balance, but the storm inside me feels even more dangerous. Panic, anger, and bitterness are threatening to swamp my faith. I run to You in the middle of the boat. Speak Your authoritative words into my heart right now: “Peace! Be still!” Rebuke the winds of my runaway imagination and let a great, supernatural calm settle over my mind. I trust Your voice above the roar of the water. Amen.
