Lord, my inner world is so rarely quiet. Even when my hands are still, my mind is racing with regret, plan-making, and anxiety. Forgive my frantic spirit. Today, I anchor my heart in the truth that You are right here in my midst. You are mighty enough to save me from myself. I stop trying to earn Your favor and choose to simply sit beneath Your gaze. Quiet my loud thoughts with the weight of Your immense, unchanging love, and let me hear the song of joy You sing over my soul. Amen.
