Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?

Lord God, shadows of fear and anxiety over the future are trying to cloud my thinking today. My flesh is loud, and it wants me to cower. But when You step in, Your light shatters the darkness. You are the unshakeable stronghold of my life. Since my eternity is secure in Your salvation, the small discomforts and threats of this world have no real power over me. Grant me a bold, quiet confidence today. Amen.
