Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Father, the valley I am walking through right now feels very dark, and the shadows of worry are looming large over my path. My heart is so quick to fear the worst. Remind me that the valley is only a shadow, and shadows cannot harm me when You are near. Thank You that I do not walk through this season alone. Let Your rod protect me from the enemy’s lies, and let Your staff gently nudge me back into Your peace. Amen.
