My Lord, I know the right things to say and I know what Your Word teaches, yet my actions so often reflect the exact opposite. Forgive me for building my life on the shifting sands of my own feelings and worldly logic. Give me the wisdom and the strength to not just listen to Your words, but to actually obey them today. Build my character on the unshakeable Rock of Your truth, so that when the rains fall and the winds blow, I will stand firm. Amen.
