Sovereign Lord, it brings me such peace to know that You “sit” as the refiner. You are in complete control of the heat, never leaving the crucible unattended. You know exactly how long my soul needs to be tested. Purge away my deep-seated selfishness and anger today. Keep refining me until the surface of my life reflects Your image clearly, so that I can offer You true worship. Amen.
