Psalm 37:7

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men prosper in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes.

Lord, as I start this new week, I refuse to “fret.” I refuse to compare my life to others or worry about those who seem to get ahead by cutting corners. I choose to be still before You. I am waiting patiently for Your timing and Your justice. Give me the grace to work hard but rest deep, knowing that my life is held in Your sovereign hand. I will not be moved by the “wicked schemes” of the world. Amen.
