Celebrate Victory in Jesus

Hi, Friend!

Through every battle, His grace has sustained you. Rejoice not in your strength, but in His finished work on the cross. Celebrate, because the chains are broken, and the journey continues in freedom.

Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer)

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

A Psalm of Praise and Thanks

psalm 108

My heart is steadfast, O God. I will sing and make music with all my soul.

Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.

I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to You among the peoples.

For Your loving devotion is higher than the heavens, and Your truth reaches to the skies.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let Your glory be over all the earth. Save with Your right hand and answer me, so that Your beloved may be delivered.

God has spoken in His sanctuary: “I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem and measure out the Valley of Succoth.

Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim is My helmet, Judah is My scepter.

Moab is My washbasin; upon Edom I toss My sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”

Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?

Have You not rejected us, O God? Will You no longer march out, O God, with our armies?

Give us aid against the foe, for the help of man is worthless.

With God we will perform with valor, and He will trample our enemies.
A Psalm for Mercy and Help

psalm 38

O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger, or discipline me in Your wrath.

For Your arrows have pierced me deeply, and Your hand has pressed down on me. There is no soundness in my body because of Your anger; there is no rest in my bones because of my sin.

For my iniquities have overwhelmed me; they are a burden too heavy to bear. My wounds are foul and festering because of my foolishness.

I am bent over and brought low; all day long I walk in mourning. For my loins are full of burning pain, and there is no health in my body.

I am faint and severely crushed; I groan in the anguish of my heart. O Lord, my every desire is before You; my groaning is not hidden from You.

My heart palpitates, my strength fails me; even the light of my eyes has faded. My loved ones and friends stand back from my affliction, and my relatives stand afar off.

Those who seek my life set their snares; those who wish me harm speak of my ruin and devise treachery all day long.

But I am like a deaf man who cannot hear, like a mute who cannot open his mouth. I am like a man who cannot hear, whose mouth can offer no reply.

For I wait for You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God. For I said, “Let them not gloat over me—those who exalt themselves when my foot slips.”

For I am about to fall, and my pain is ever with me. I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.

Many are my vigorous enemies, and those who hate me without cause are multiplied. Those who repay my good with evil attack me for pursuing the good.

Do not forsake me, O LORD; O my God, be not far from me. Come quickly to help me, O Lord my Savior.
