What the Enemy Meant for Harm…

Hi, Friend!

The enemy may try to use trials to break you down.
But God turns every plan of destruction into a testimony of His power.
What was meant for harm becomes a pathway to His glory.

Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer)

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

A Psalm of Praise and Thanks

Psalm 124

“If the LORD had not been on our side,” let Israel now say— “if the LORD had not been on our side when men rose up against us,

then they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; then the waters would have engulfed us, and the torrent would have swept over our soul.

Then the raging waters would have swept over our soul.” Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as prey to their teeth.

Our soul has escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
A Psalm for Mercy and Help

Psalm 140

Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; preserve me from violent men, who devise evil in their hearts and stir up war all day long. They sharpen their tongues like snakes; the venom of vipers is under their lips.

Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men who plan to trip my feet. The proud have hidden a snare for me; they have spread out the cords of a net by the wayside and set traps for me.

I say to the LORD, “You are my God.” Hear, O LORD, my cry for mercy. O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, You shield my head in the day of battle.

Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked; do not further their schemes, lest they be exalted. May the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused.

May burning coals fall on them; may they be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, never to rise again. Let no slanderer be established in the land; may evil hunt down the violent man to overthrow him.

I know that the LORD will take up the cause of the afflicted and maintain justice for the needy. Surely the righteous will give thanks to Your name; the upright will dwell in Your presence.
Brief Prayer

Father, thank You that nothing the enemy schemes can overcome Your plans.
Turn my wounds into testimonies of Your grace.

Where the enemy sought to destroy, bring restoration and hope.
Help me trust that You redeem every broken place in my life.

Teach me to see Your hand even in seasons of hardship.
Fill me with faith that You make all things work for good.

Let my life be a witness to Your power and mercy.
Amen.
