Ask God to help you see truth, freedom, and His love—clearly and deeply.—and to silence the enemy’s lies.
Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer)
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
A Psalm of Praise and Thanks
Psalm 119:12-48
I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts and consider Your ways.
I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word.
Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from Your law. I am a stranger on the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.
My soul is consumed with longing for Your judgments at all times. You rebuke the arrogant—the cursed, who wander from Your commandments.
Remove from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies. Even though princes sit and plot against me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes.
Your testimonies indeed are my delight; they are my counselors. My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.
I recounted my ways and You answered me; teach me Your statutes. Make me understand the way of Your precepts, that I may meditate on Your wondrous works.
My soul melts with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word. Keep me from the way of deceit; graciously give me Your law.
I have chosen the way of truth; I have set Your judgments before me. I cling to Your testimonies, O LORD; let me not be put to shame.
I will run the course of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep it to the end.
Give me understanding that I may keep Your law and observe it with all my heart. Lead me in the path of Your commandments, for I delight in it.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies and not to selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; revive me with Your word.
Fulfill Your promise to Your servant, so that You may be feared. Take away the disgrace I dread, for Your judgments are good.
How I long for Your precepts! Revive me in Your righteousness.
May Your loving devotion come to me, O LORD, Your salvation according to Your promise. Then I will have an answer for my scorner, for I trust in Your word.
Do not snatch the word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in Your judgments. I will continually keep Your law, forever and ever.
I will walk in freedom, for I have sought Your precepts. I will speak of Your testimonies before kings, and I will not be put to shame.
I delight in Your commandments, which I love. I lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love, and I meditate on Your statutes.
A Psalm for Mercy and Help
Psalm 142
When my spirit grows faint within me, You know my way. In the path where I walk they have hidden a snare for me.
Look to my right and see; no one attends to me. There is no refuge for me; no one cares for my soul.
I cry to You, O LORD: “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.” Listen to my cry, for I am brought very low.
Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I. Free my soul from prison, that I may praise Your name.
The righteous will gather around me because of Your goodness to me.
Brief Prayer
Father, open my eyes to see what You are doing in my life.
Remove the blinders of fear, pride, and doubt.
Help me notice the blessings that surround me each day.
Show me where I have believed lies instead of truth.
Give me vision to see my life through Your promises.
Teach me to trust Your guidance even when the path is unclear.
Fill me with wisdom that comes from You alone.
Amen.
